Those are slices of stone placed vertically to form the foundation of the road.

I dig the wide angle shots. Ok, super wide. ;-) Also admire your self discipline in maintaining this bike log. I wouldn't have done that.

There are only two ultra-wide angle shots in this set, the rest are all just wide-angle :) The bike log was part of the notes that I kept through the trip, will help now as I start making the posts.

The beauty is that you got to do some of those updates on the spreadsheet at over 10000 feet.

Did take the bike to more than 17000 ft but all updates were done with pen and paper while on the trip :)

Yes. Work was hectic than and later moved to US.

105 days on bike is really hard. I'm not sure whether any record is already there in India, If not you can have your name in Limka Book of record!

Simply awesome ! Both the pics and the fact that you could actually take a leave of about 3 and a half months to do this kind of a trip. I guess your Bhubaneshwar to Vijayawada was the longest at a stretch. Congrats !!
