Dual transport
Had kept my alarm for 4:30am but it was not loud enough to wake me up; A call at 5am started the day. The Ford Fusion is a very good car for bad roads. A solid car that doesn't feel like it is going 80kmph even when it does that. Smoothly goes over rough roads and crosses pot holes with minimal effort. We were there well before the gates opening at 9am. The river is great with a sandy beach-like shore and the water is shallow for more than a 100ft. Got into the water and played for sometime with a volleyball. Since we had gone early, not much of a crowd and the whole river was ours. On the way back, we had lunch at a dhaba on Kanakapura road and were back in Bangalore by 4:30pm.

awesome pic ! would have been sorta complete had the guy had an oar or something in his hand.

But, on the flip side, you should only capture whats there, you should not be asking the guy to hold an oar for your pic :)

Instead of an oar, they use a long stick(you can see that in the pic) to cross the river. In this pic, the guy is actually using his Hawai chappals as an oar since he was pretty close to the bank.

sorry, could not give much attention .. yes, typically I have seen long bamboo poles being used or small a very atypical oar being used.
