A walk in the wilderness : Wayanad, Kerala.
A place next to the forests, a calm house and a chef who treats you to a king's buffet; that is Fringe Ford, where I spent a long weekend taking walks in the forest, reading a book and generally relaxing.

| A day trip to Bekal |

Ice cream seller: at Bekal fort, Kerala.
We had taken a day trip to Bekal on Saturday, the day before the Kadri Kambala; the sun was high, it was hot and the ice-cream seller was making brisk business; but even he needed a respite from the sun. We ended the day watching the sunset at a fishing village nearby, with beach cricket in the background and a bunch of kids for company.
Shot a roll of Sterling 125 BW film that day.

On Sunday, while driving up the coast, we filled petrol in Mahe, at Rs. 41.81 per litre!
On the same day, at around 12pm, we saw umbrellas being used for the rain, and in two hrs, at the coast, we saw umbrellas being used for the sun. |
